Why did you choose to join Outward Bound?
I was a student on a 21 day course and felt first hand how powerful Outward Bound can be; I wanted to be able to give others the same experience.
What's the most rewarding aspect of working for Outward Bound?
Living and working in a strong community of passionate, committed staff and friends.
What are your favorite moments on course?
Final expedition when my students are using all that they have learned to be self-reliant, making their own mistakes and figuring out how to fix them.
Tell us about a recent accomplishment or adventure:
I spent December on a rock climbing expedition with 3 friends from Outward Bound -- we climbed in Red Rocks, NV, Phoenix, and Chochise Strongold, AZ.
Do you get any specific cravings while you are on course?
NPR and coca-cola!
